Description
David and Diana, who once shared the unique childhood intimacy of twins, are now in their sixties and have become long estranged by old quarrels and conflicting loyalties. Over the years they have lived in different worlds: David with his embittered wife and the demands of a family; Diana with her career as a doctor and her long love affair with Constance, the woman with whom she lives. Constance, once vigorous and independent, is growing frail and suffers the agonies of failing memory. Through coming to care for her together, David and Diana confront the realities of aging and the power of memory that either sustains or destroys relationships.
